Reducing Emissions

The future limits for SOx and NOx emissions require considerable efforts on the part of shipyards and ship operators. A number of scenarios are conceivable:

the conversion of a large part of the fleet to gasoil operation
the installation of emission cleaning systems (dry/wet scrubbers)
from 2016 additional combination with solutions for NOx reduction
LNG/dual fuel concepts for newbuildings
other solutions for ships world wide
